In a recent research poll stress was cited as having a

This amounts to approximately 8.5 million people and can have such
effects as;

reduced efficiency and accuracy of work produced
- Tiredness
and irritability
- Weakening
of immune system contributing to the development of other illnesses
- Negative
effect on abstract planning, decision making and creativity
